Welcome
Thank you for visiting Withness.
Over many years I have become increasingly aware of a simple reality.
God is with us.
This thread runs through the whole story of Scripture.
The Lord walked in the garden.
He travelled with His people through the wilderness.
In Jesus, God came among us.
Through the Holy Spirit, He dwells with His people today.
And one day we will see Him face to face.
The word Withness grew out of this simple truth.
It is not a programme, a method, or a new idea.
It is an invitation to notice the presence of God, to walk with Jesus, and to learn to live from His life.
The reflections, stories and resources shared here have emerged from my own journey as a husband, father, grandfather, friend, leader, prayer companion and follower of Jesus.
My hope is that they will help others slow down, listen well, draw near to Jesus, and discover the joy of walking with Him.
The first book in this series is Withness: The Threads of God’s Presence Through Scripture and Story.
Copies are available through This Little Gem, Amazon, or directly from me.
